William Walter "Bill" Jenkins

Passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at age 81 in Altus, Oklahoma. Born April 22, 1931 in Weakley County, Tennessee to Robert and Pauline Jenkins. Bill was honorably discharged from the United States National Guard. Preceding him in death was the love of his life and wife of 60 years, Louetta Byrd Jenkins.
Surviving are his daughters, Jackie (Bob) Van Liew of Florida, Janice Lamb of Oklahoma, Julia (Brian) Tanner of Eaton Rapids, MI; son, Robert (Shannon) Jenkins of Eaton Rapids, MI; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
