Vincenza Virginia Humble

Went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 12, 2012 at age 88. Born March 14, 1924 to Jim and Helen Lecato in Flint, Michigan. Virginia retired as a Dietician from Sparrow Hospital. She then went on to work for the Lansing School District in Food Service until she was 84. Virginia enjoyed fishing, playing cards and going to the casino. She loved all of her grandchildren and will be missed dearly by all who remember her. Preceding her in death were her husband, Warren; 5 brothers, 2 sisters and her parents.
Surviving are her daughters, Evelyn (Ken) Spitzley, Patricia (Clive) Simpson, Carol Puckett, Joan (Pete) Burge; sons, James Humble and William Humble; 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Tom) Payovich, Theresa Grundy, Josephine (Phil Mask) Lecato; brother, Jim (Pat) Lecato; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Trinity Church 3355 Dunckel Rd. Lansing. Family will receive friends at Skinner Funeral Home Lansing formerly Chapel in the Pines from 2-4 & 6-8pm on Monday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, or, McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation.
