Vina "Minnie" Heintzelman Obituary (1923 - 2008)

Age 84, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008. Vina was born April 27, 1923 in Eaton Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Willard and Eliza (Dawson) Worden. A long time member of the American Legion Auxilary Unit # 15, Minnie enjoyed watching baseball and followed the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs. She enjoyed going to the Eaton Rapids Senior Center for dinners and attending the jam sessions. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend will be dearly missed by all. Vina was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Heintzelman in 1992; 1 sister, 3 brothers and 3 half brothers. She is survived by 3 sons, Keith (Bonnie) Heintzelman of Pensacola, FL., Joel (Gay) Heintzelman of Eaton Rapids, MI. and Doug (Jan) Martin of Dimondale, MI.; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and friends.??? Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, 11:00 A.M. at Skinner Funeral Home in Eaton Rapids with Rev. Stephen Klink officiating. Interment will follow at Munger Cemetery in Eaton Rapids. The family will receive relatives and friends, Tuesday, April 29, 2008, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Eaton Rapids Senior Center in memory of Minnie.
