Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the age of 96. Born December 1, 1922 to Louis and Katherine (Kryska) Gorski in Detroit, Michigan. Victoria was raised in Detroit and after marrying John Stefanski, together they moved to Allen Park where they would raise their family. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed a trip she and John had taken to Rome. Victoria liked to do puzzles, play Jacks and board games. She had a great sense of humor and loved to sing and dance. Most of all she loved her family and looked forward to hosting family gatherings and holidays. She will be dearly missed by all who remember her. Preceding her in death were her husband, John Stefanski; brother, Louis Gorski; twin brother, Stanley Gorski; sisters, Anna Gorski, Stella Lakatos, Lottie Mills, Florence Aksamit as well as her parents.
Surviving are her children; Jim (Janet) Stefanski, Robert (Rhonda) Stefanski, Joanne (David) Ringlein; grandchildren, Sara Deyo, Randall Stefanski, Brian (Danielle) Holmes, Eric (Shayna) Holmes, Lindsay Stefanski, Holly Stefanski, Scott-Ross (Jessica) Dailey, Courtnee (Jason) West, Andrew (Rachel) Ferraiuolo, Ashley (Kurt) Batteen, Laura Ferraiuolo, Paul (Sara) Ferraiuolo, Jacob Ferraiuolo, Elizabeth Ringlein; great-grandchildren, Drew Deyo, Ava Deyo, Avery McGroarty, Brett Holmes, Gabrielle Holmes, Tessa Shepherd, Jackson Shepherd, Ella Trahan, Zola Dailey, Jace Batteen, Hyatt Batteen, Mari Batteen, Tate Batteen as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation and light refreshments two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to either Stand Up For Cancer, Cure Alzheimer's Fund, or Sparrow Foundation- Hospice Services in Victoria's name.
