Victor "Doug" Price Obituary (1949 - 2017)

Victor Douglas (Doug) Price of Lansing, MI passed away on March 28th at the age of 67. Doug was born in Lansing on September 16, 1949 to Victor and Inez (Denstaedt) Price. Doug raised his son in the family home while working at the hardware store, the plumbing shop, or the variety store. In later years, he turned his father's variety store into his own successful power tool repair store. He could listen to your tool to diagnose what was wrong with it. His customers either loved him or didn't, but they always came back for more. Surviving Doug are his wife Sarah; his son Richard; his granddaughters Victoria, Erica, and Nicole; sisters Barbara and Beverly; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and special family members Matthew Morris and Nathan Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Inez, and his brother David. A small memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Skinner Funeral Homes, Lansing chapel.
