Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 20, 2024 at the age of 91. Born February 22, 1933 to Howard and Ruthell (Harris) Henderson in Elkton, Kentucky. Velma worked in various sales positions primarily in party planning. She was a member of Judson Baptist Church in Lansing for many years. Preceding her in death were her parents and two sons, Bruce Robison and Brent Robison.
Surviving is her daughter, Pamela (James) Lay; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A private family memorial will be held at a later date and Velma will be interred at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing. To share memories and condolences please visit www.SkinnerFuneralHomes.com
