Passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2013 at the age of 67. He was born on October 12, 1946 to Richard and Arcelia (Goins) Wilkes in Zanesville, Ohio. Vaughn attended Everett High School; he had a love for the outdoors and his dog Gordy. He is preceded in death by his father; step father, Harley Norman; brothers, Edward Norman, Gary Wilkes; sister, Carolyn Wilkes.
Surviving are his mother, Arcelia Norman; sisters, Reatha Gould, Karen (Lee) Richardson, Marcella Alicea, Brenda (Ed) Reid, Sheila Norman; brothers, Douglas (Betty) Wilkes, Terry (Yolanda) Wilkes, Kim Norman; best friend, Joe Daggett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no services for Vaughn but memorial contributions are encouraged, and should be made to the Capital Area Humane Society in loving memory of Vaughn Wilkes.
