Tom Allen Rude

Of Dansville, MI passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2023 at the age of 44. Tom was born on May 18, 1978 in Jackson, MI the son of Edward and Penny (Piper) Rude. He was raised in Rives Junction and attended Jackson Northwest and Mason School. Tom worked as a heavy equipment operator for Chattaway Excavating in Stockbridge, MI. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trail riding on his side by side. Tom was fond of Drummond Island and loved his family trips there, which he made several times a year. Tom also enjoyed attending the races at Butler Motor Speedway where he would watch his cousin, Manix race every Saturday night. He was extremely generous and always willing to help others in need. In Tom's final act of generosity, he gave of his organs to Gift of Life Michigan where he will be able to save the life of others in need.

He is survived by his wife, Kenda (Kinyon) Rude; son, Daniel (Camryn Gray) Rude; daughter, Callie (Zach Bostwick) Rude; mother, Penny Rude; sister-in-law, Rhonda (Jaime Vowels) Bowen and nieces, Haley Hartwick, Emilie Bowen, and Riley Gidley.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Chattaway Excavating in Stockbridge, MI starting at 5:00 P.M.
