Passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at age 69. Born February 17, 1947 to Leonard and Romilda (Leik) Smith in Lansing, Michigan. Sue was a graduate of O'Rafferty High School in Lansing. She started a day care service that she operated out of her home. Sue loved all animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, planting flowers, computer games and she was also an avid U of M fan. Most of all she loved being a grandmother and spending time with her new grandson, Jaxton.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph Leonard; son, Scott (Jaci) Leonard; grandson, Jaxton; brother, Robert (Ellen) Smith; sisters, Donna Meitler, Doris Orson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel with a 7 p.m. vigil service.
