Steven Scott Wiborn
Of Blanchard, MI and formerly of Eaton Rapids, MI passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the age of 55. Steve was born on June 15, 1961 the son of Dick and Connie Wiborn. He attended Eaton Rapids High School and was a member of the class of 1979. Steve started his own business in the early 1980's installing metal doors and frames and operated that until the early 1990's. After that he went to work for General Motors until 2010. Steve was an avid hunter and fisherman; he enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time in his garage working on cars. His greatest joy in life was his family, he treasured the time his spent with his children and grandchildren. Steve will always be remembered as a practical joker who had a great sense of humor and quick wit.
Steve is preceded in death by his father, Dick and brother, Bob Wiborn. Surviving are his mother, Connie Wiborn; daughters, Jessica (Steve) Dyer, Brandy (Brandon) Decker; grandchildren, Kyle Dyer, Konner Dyer, Neva Mae Decker; sister, Cindy (Jim) Maurer; brothers, Tom Wiborn, Sam Wiborn and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids chapel.
