Passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the age of 80. Born August 21, 1936 to Paul and Marion (McCleod) Collins in Laurel, Delaware. Shirley was a graduate of Laurel High School and went on to attend Michigan State University. She worked as an administrative assistant for East Lansing High School where she later retired. Shirley was an avid fan of MSU basketball, Tigers baseball and professional boxing. She also enjoyed her yellow stick shift Volkswagen Bug and collecting Shawnee Pottery. Shirley was no ordinary Grannie. Most of all, Shirley loved her family and all of the time spent with them. Preceding her in death were her parents and 5 siblings.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Joseph Kuszai; children, Christine Kuszai, Joel (Kendra) Kuszai, Cara McWilliam; grandchildren, Dylan McWilliam, Noa Kuszai, Oskar Kuszai, Joya Kuszai as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
