Reva Alice Sparks

Known for her giving spirit and passionate love for her family and friends, Reva A. Sparks (86), of Holt Michigan died on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Reva was born in Genesee Michigan, daughter of the late Charles and Elsie Blossom. She grew up in Genesee, Michigan and graduated from Kearsley High School in Flint in 1946.
Loving Sister, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Friend, Reva's heart was bigger than life. She was energized by giving to others, whether she was caring for more than 40 foster children, planning church and community events as a pastor's wife, or organizing donations for the homeless. She loved spending time with family and friends, finding a deal, and reading a good book. She had great faith in God and was a fervent prayer warrior.
Reva will be greatly missed by her sister Darlene (Hubert) Miller of Flint and brothers Jack (Peggy) Blossom and Charles II (Cheryl) Blossom of Flint; her children Stacy and Thomas Blossom of Vassar, Fawn Lewis of Ft. Worth, TX, Joe Sparks of Fowlerville, and Tadd and Doreen Sparks of Holt; and 15 grandchildren and great grandchildren; Heidi and Chace Campbell (Tesla) of Greenville, SC, Aaron and Etta Sanders (Asher) of Austin, TX, Andrew and Anna Sanders (Ian and Zackary) of Austin, TX, Joe, Scout and Savanna Sparks of Fowlerville, and Torri and Casey Sparks of Holt.
