Philip Charles "Phil" Treadwell

Passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2016 at age 71. Born September 4, 1945 to Charles and Jeanne (Herzog) Treadwell in Lansing, Michigan. Phil was stationed in Korea while honorably serving in the US Army. He went on to work for General Motors where he later retired as Supervisor from Flint Engine South. Phil was a founding member of The Family M.C. and his two loves in life were his wife and his bike. Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Sue Treadwell.
Surviving are his wife, Theresa Treadwell; daughters, Andrea Treadwell, Theresa (Mark) Houtz Treadwell; sons, Stephen John Higbie, Stephen Treadwell; grandchildren, Teddy Treadwell, Dawaun Treadwell, Marcus Treadwell, Shalynn Treadwell, Brianna Treadwell, Mahayla Murray, Mariah Treadwell; great-grandchild, Maliah Treadwell as well as several sisters, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service for visitation. The family would like to give a special thanks to the caring staff at McLaren Visiting Nurse and Hospice.
