Passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026 at the age of 71. Born June 21, 1955 to Orson and Shirley (Harrington) Yeakey in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Pat joined the military in the late 60’s and upon his discharge he returned to the Grand Rapids area where he went to work for Gibsons Warehouse in Greenville as a Hi-Lo Operator. Pat was an avid golfer and played all around the state of Michigan. He enjoyed sailing with his best friend, Jim. Together they sailed out of Interlochen and Muskegon enjoying the open water of Lake Michigan. One of his favorite table games was foosball and he was quite good. Pat also loved to read and especially had an interest in Sci-Fi books. His favorite authors were Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke, and he owned nearly all their books. Pat was a great man with many talents, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Doug Yeakey and his best friend, Jim Snoap.

Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Teresa Yeakey; children, Brian Yeakey, Zachary Yeakey, Jessica (Joseph) Henry; grandchildren, Brian (Jayde Geiger) Yeakey Jr., Carlina Yeakey, Owyn Henry, Clyde Henry, JoJo Henry; great grandchildren, Lane, Haven, and Easton; siblings, Wanda (Dave Hall) Yeakey-Hall, Randy (Jody Beukema) Yeakey, Mark (Cheryl) Yeakey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
