Olive Eileen McGee Obituary (1917 - 2014)

Olive Eileen McGee Of Mason, MI and formerly of Lansing, MI passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the age of 97. Olive was born on April 23, 1917 to John and Hilda (Cooling) Pearson in Liverpool, England. At age 7 she moved with her family to Canada and soon after moved to Michigan. Olive graduated from Howell High School and moved to Lansing where she worked for Knapp's, and for many years as a Secretary in the Girls Phys. Ed. Dept. at West Junior, and Gardner Middle Schools where she was known to the students as Mrs. Mac. Olive also worked for Oldsmobile during WWII making ammunition shells. She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Russell McGee; and brother, Edward Pearson. Surviving are her son, Roger (Janice) McGee of Barryton, MI; grandchildren, Matthew McGee, and Kathleen Harmon.
