Olive Marie Hensley

Passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at age 88. Born July 20, 1924 to Henry A. and Marie Horst in Chicago, IL. Olive was an active member at the First Presbyterian Church in Lansing. She was a world traveler taking trips to such places as London, Hong Kong, Alaska and Hawaii. Olive had two favorite pets in her dog, Jake and cat, Derrick. In her leisure time she liked to swim at the YMCA. Preceding her in death was her husband, Bryce Hensley and son, Mark Hensley.
Surviving are her daughter, Marsha (Ron Turner) Hoffman of DeWitt; grandchildren, Kari (Kirby) Shane, Josh (Laurie) Hoffman, Kelsey (KC) Gallimore; great grandchildren, Taylor and Paton Shane, Alyssa and J.J. Hoffman, Ireland Gallimore.
In keeping with her wishes there will be no services. Olive will be interred at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL at a later date.
