Myra Regina Ogden Lewis
Of Eaton Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the age of 80. Myra was born on July 16, 1946, in Lexington, Virginia, the daughter of Rader and Gay (Chittum) Ogden. She was raised in Buena Vista, Virginia, where she attended school before eventually making her home in the Eaton Rapids area.
For more than 30 years, Myra proudly operated her own residential cleaning service, becoming affectionately known by many as “Jeannie Clean.” Through her hard work and dedication, she cared for the homes of many families throughout Eaton Rapids, Charlotte, and Lansing. She was also a past member of the Eaton Rapids Wesleyan Church.
Myra took great pride in her home and enjoyed decorating with seasonal décor, caring for her houseplants, and spending time gardening. She especially cherished trips back to the mountains of Virginia, where she enjoyed visiting with family and reconnecting with the place she called home during her younger years. Above all, Myra treasured her family. Her three sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her great joy, and she cherished the time they shared together.
Myra was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Tyler; her husband, Duane Lewis; and her parents.
She is survived by her sons, Ken Tyler, Rick (Anjil) Tyler, and Jeffrey Tyler; grandchildren, Ashley Tyler, Andrew (Michelle) Tyler, Stacy (Billy) Elliott, and Toni Mahaffey; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Rev. Stanley (Sheila) Ogden and Rev. Rader (Robin) Ogden, Jr.; sister, Kathy Ogden; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
