Mercedes “Mety” Marie Hernandez (Wiborn)

Lansing

After a courageous battle with health issues she went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the age of 36. Born March 19, 1973 in Lansing to Daniel and Yolanda (Montalvo) Hernandez. Mercedes was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, "auntie", and friend that loved cooking, being in the sun, and watching U.F.C. She showed everyone what life is all about and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Surviving are her husband, Marcus Wiborn; daughter, Ariel Justine Wiborn; her parents; grandparents, Mario and Nina Montalvo, Lydia Hernandez; brother, Dan Dan (Katie) Hernandez; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Mercedes life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home with Fr. Fred Thelen as Celebrant. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Mercedes' daughter, Ariel.
