Maynard W. McKessy

Passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the age of 89. Maynard was born May 15, 1920 in Onondaga, Michigan to John and Myrtle (Steele) Mckessy. He lived in the Eaton Rapids area his entire life. While in school Maynard was a member of the Civilian Conservation Core. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served two years during the end of WWII. Maynard's hobbies included wood working, mushrooming, and playing golf. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Maynard leaves behind his wife of 69 years Sylvia (Higgins) Mckessy, children; Barry (Beverly) Mckessy, Phillip (Kay) Mckessy, grandchildren; Eric (Erica) Mckessy, Scott (Sherri) Mckessy, Craig (Amber) Mckessy, Kerry (Christian) Wiser, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
