Born on April 7, 1929 in Lansing, MI, filled the world with warmth and laughter until her departure on March 3, 2025 at the age of 95. A loving soul whose radiance reached everyone she encountered, Mary's legacy is one of unwavering dedication, loyalty, and love.

Mary, a retired food service worker for the Lansing Public Schools, was known for her generosity and hardworking spirit. She loved to create and cultivate, a passion reflected in her cherished gardens and her specialty cookies, which were always baked with love. A dedicated wife, Mary deeply cherished her late husband, Seth Sanders. After his passing, she remained a pillar of strength, channeling her love and care towards her granddaughter, Nicole, and her loyal four-legged friend, Nya. Mary's laughter and joy for life was infectious, and she had an incredible capacity for helping others. She spent many cherished years and made numerous memories with family and friends at her previous home on Chippewa Lake in Mecosta, Michigan.

Mary is survived by her granddaughter, Nicole (Chad) Robart; 3 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchild, Serenity, Kash, Kalila, Harmony, Jaxon and Maverick; great-nieces, Kathleen O'Donnell, Elaine Graham, and Ilene Pawlik; and great-nephews, Evan (Anna) Simcox, Scott Simcox, and Dale Simcox. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Carrie Simcox, her husband Seth Sanders, her daughter Marjorie Dodge, and her brothers Leroy, Lyle, and Vernon Simcox.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 10:00am – 11:00am with funeral services starting at 11:00am at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel.
