Margaret Ann Strobel
Of Lansing, MI passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the age of 96. Margaret was born on February 21, 1919 in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Peter and Blanch (Hathaway) Mollitor. She worked for J.W. Knapp Company for 20 years in gift wrapping. Margaret loved to sew. She would make baby quilts, dolls, teddy bears, and pajamas for her grandchildren and others. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Strobel; sons, Kenneth and Michael Strobel; parents, 2 brothers and 6 sisters.

Surviving are her children, Robert (Leota) Strobel, Nansie Strobel; grandchildren, Marty (Pam) Strobel, Cyndi (Chris) Montgomery, Stephen (Alison) Hill, Shannon Strobel, Shellie (Paul) Finn, Tamie (Richard) Barniak, Marjette (Jason) Kestler, Maggie Strobel, Sarah Strobel; 11 great grandchildren; sisters: Bessie Cadwell, Alice Hannahs, Mildred Gordon; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be on Sunday, March 29, at 3 PM at Grovenburg U.M.C., 1368 Grovenburg Rd, Holt, MI 48842. Visitation 1:30 to 2 pm at the Chuirch. Her remains will be buried at Deepdale Memorial Park in Lansing. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Home Sweet Home for their wonderful care over the last two years.
