M/SGT Norma J. Abenroth Kuhfal Obituary (1924 - 2011)

M/SGT Norma J. Abenroth Kuhfal Traverse City formerly of Haslett Passed away on June 25, 2011 at the age of 87. She was born April 18, 1924 in Lansing. Norma Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; Parents Sarah Elizabeth and Herbert G. Abendroth step mother Marian; brothers, Ralph (Clara) Abenroth, Donald (Kathy) Abendroth, Richard (Brook) Abendroth. Norma Jean is survived by her sister Alice C. (Donald) Gillson; brother, Gary Abendroth and numerous other relatives. After serving 23 years in the U.S. Air Force in Germany, Hawaii and in the states she retired and worked for the social security administration for 20 years. She enjoyed playing golf and being a professional clown in the 2nd Time Around Band. Burial will take place Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.
