Lynne Yvonne Weinman local gospel singer has left earth to sing in one of God's angel choirs
(Hoping for a solo sometimes). Born in Lansing on July 23, 1933 to Dale & Dororthy (Surine) Eyestone. Died Saturday, January 20, 2018. Lynne started singing publicly at an early age. In her preteen years, she was a soloist on radio with Uncle Howdy's W.J.I.M. Juvenile Choir and G.M. Juniors, soloist at several area churches. She was a member of South Lansing Christian Church
and sang at many special events, weddings and funerals. For twenty-seven years she was Lynne W. on W.K.A.R. radio talking book with a daily devotion program. Lynn was married to Don Weinman on July 7, 1951. He preceded in death in 2017 after sixty-five years of marriage; she is survived by daughters, Michelle Poglese, Cynthia Joubert; son, Kris Weinman; four grandsons;
and three great-grandsons. She was pre-deceased by her son Jerome (Jere) in 2000.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at South Lansing Christian Church with Pastor Frank Weller officiating.
