Lynn Bartlett Dunbar
Of Lansing, MI passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 79. Lynn was born on December 12, 1942, in West Branch, MI the daughter of Edwin and Helen (Pfeifle) Bartlett. She graduated from West Branch High School class of 1960 and went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree from MSU in 1964, her Masters Degree from Oakland College in 1966 and her Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School in 1980. Lynn taught English before going to law school. Then, she served as a Prosecuting Attorney in Ogemaw County from 1980 - 1992 and eventually taught critical writing for Saginaw Valley State University. Most recently, Lynn worked for Elderly Instruments in Lansing's Old Town from 1997 - 2015. She loved music and enjoyed jam sessions with the Pretty Shaky String Band of East Lansing where she played the guitar, banjo, and a bit of fiddle.
Lynn is survived by her daughter, Heather Dunbar, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Timothy Dunbar.
