Lillian Louise Everett

We lost our beloved Lillian Louise Everett "Lilly" on June 8, 2013 at the age of 89. She was the oldest daughter born to Michael and Pauline (Seperic) Krancich on May 19, 1924 in Lansing, MI. Lilly's dad passed away when she was 4 and her mother remarried John Mestek a year later and became the only father she knew. Lilly was a devoted and loving wife, a caring sister, and a fun aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Lilly had a passionate heart for all animals and treated them like her own. There wasn't a bird or squirrel she didn't feed. She was loved dearly by everyone she met. Lilly enjoyed traveling, reading her bible, truly loved music, and was knowledgeable on so many subject.
Lillian is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Everett; parents, and sister, Josephine Garnecky. Surviving are her brother, Michael Krancich; sister, Anne (Jerry Davidson) Charles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 11:00 AM at Skinner Funeral Home in Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Casmir Parish. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the staff at New Haven AFC and to Lana Nagel of Grace Hospice for being there until the end.
