Lewis Williams Obituary (1944 - 2014)

Lewis Williams Of Lansing, MI passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the age of 69. Born on August 4, 1944 to Spencer and Cecelia (Gates) Williams in Chesterfield, VA. Lewis worked as a landscaper in Richmond, VA before moving to Lansing. He was an avid sports enthusiast; he enjoyed boxing, wrestling, basketball, and football. Preceding him in death were his parents, 13 siblings, and daughter in law, Michelle Williams. Surviving are his daughters, Veronica (Chad) Cannons, Arnita (Christopher) Furgason, Juanita Williams; sons, Eric Williams; 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014 3:00 PM at Olivet Baptist Church.
