Lawrence Harold "Butchy" Bigelow Obituary (1942 - 2015)

Lawrence H. "Butchy" Bigelow Lansing, MI Passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at age 73. Born March 3, 1942 to Harold and Lillian Bigelow in Lansing, Michigan. Lawrence worked for Peckham Inc. at different locations including Lansing, Charlotte and Holt. He enjoyed bowling, playing yard darts and horseshoes, spending time outside and playing hooky from work. Preceding him in death were his parents and an infant sibling. Surviving are his sisters, Brenda Neuhauser, Honey Bigelow, Kay (Ronald) Surato, Jacqueline Purcell, JoAnn (Jack) Stiles; brother, Raymond (JoAnn) Bigelow as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing. Family will receive friends for visitation from 1-2 p.m. at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.
