Kathryn Jo Eaton Obituary (1955 - 2017)

Kathryn Jo Eaton Lansing Passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at age 62. Born May 13, 1955 to Jack and Theresa (Lecato) Grundy in Lansing, Michigan. Kathy received a dual Masters in Computer Science and Telecommunications from Michigan State University. She had worked as a software engineer for many places and most recently worked at Walmart. Kathy enjoyed going to the movie theater, doing puzzles and taking her family on vacations. She was a proud MSU alumna and a fan of all MSU sports. Kathy had two Pomeranian dogs that she adored, Bruno and Lacy. Preceding her in death were her father, Jack Grundy and sister, Angela McDonald. Surviving are her mother, Theresa Grundy; daughter, Julia (Brandon) Scott; sons, Danny (Rhonda) Eaton, Jonathan (Julie) Eaton, Michael Eaton; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Wesley Scott, Chris Miller, Steven (Natasha) Yorks, Holly Yorks, Starr (LeRoy) Moray, Keith Perkins III; sister, Kimberly Hetchler; brother, Jack (Michelle) Grundy as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
