Passed away on Monday, December 21, 2015 at age 99. Born August 16, 1916 to Ray and Verna (Shuart) Nooner in Lansing, Michigan. Juanita retired from the State of Michigan where she worked as a clerk. She was an independent woman who enjoyed being a caregiver to others. Juanita loved to crochet, cook and dance. Preceding her in death were her husband, Lee Burgess; granddaughter, Susan Livermore; 2 step-brothers, a half-brother and her parents.
Surviving are her sons, Willis "Bill" (Hildegard) Burgess of Kokomo, IN, Jack (Madonna) Burgess of Lansing, MI; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
