Jon Arthur Hale Jr.

Jon Arthur Hale Jr. journeyed off to eternal happiness on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 in his hometown of Lansing, Michigan. Jon Jr. was born on Sept. 10, 1975 to Jon (Jack) & Barbara Hale at Lansing's Sparrow Hospital. He attended Lansing Eastern High School, and was a graduate of the 1992 class. Jon worked diligently for Peckham Industries' Lansing Facility for over 17 years. Jon will no doubt be remembered as a big man with an even bigger heart whose kindness touched the lives of so many. Jon was known as hard-working, loving, and unfailingly comical. He took a humorous approach to life, and was known for having an individualized, usually quirky comment for all who knew him. He will be missed by all, especially his dedicated and loving mother, Barbara Hale. He will also be deeply missed by his two elder sisters Shannan and Tammy, his brother Carl, his Aunt Sue, nieces and nephews Melinda, Alissa, Timothy (Cassie), Matthew (Katie), Zjackary, and Bentlee, and many more. A memorial service will be held to honor the life of Jon Hale Jr. at 11 a.m. Feb. 21 at Skinner Funeral Home's Lansing Chapel.
