On July 30, 2026, Gail Ann Penfield entered into eternal rest.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Paul Daft; her parents, Ned and Rosemarie Penfield; her sister, Mary Reynolds; her brother, Tom Penfield; and her nephew, John ("Johnny") Reynolds II.
Gail is survived by her daughters, Nellie Rose Schopp and Sara Lynn Daft; her sister, Susan Skaggs; her brother, Tim Penfield; and her many beloved nieces and nephews.
Gail embraced life with a spirit of adventure and joy. She traveled the world by train, boat, plane, and car, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories. When she wasn't traveling, she could often be found relaxing poolside or at the beach, whether with family, friends, or simply enjoying the peace on her own. She was happiest with her toes in the sand and the sound of the ocean nearby.
Family and friends meant everything to Gail. She cherished staying connected with her ever-growing family and always looked forward to spending time with the people she loved. Her warm smile, infectious laughter, and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
