Ernest Raymond "Ray" Reynolds
Of Eaton Rapids, MI passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the age of 89. Ray was born on May 14, 1929 in Jackson, Michigan the son of Ivan and Nina (Herington) Reynolds. He attended Eaton Rapids High School before joining and serving in the US Navy in 1946. Ray worked as a Truck Driver for 40 years retiring in July of 1994. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 164 in Jackson and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Ray was a huge sports fanatic and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years.
Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Reynolds; sons, Richard and Jim Reynolds; brother, Clare Ziegler and his parents.
Surviving are his children, Sharon Wiltse, Paul (Ronda) Fotis, Debbie (Rusty) Simons; 21 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; special friend, Sonja Smith and numerous extended family and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Skinner Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids Chapel.
