Dr. Larry Edward Green Obituary (1934 - 2017)

Dr. Larry Edward Green, D. C. Of Mason, MI, and formerly of Greenville, MI, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the age of 82. Larry was born on August 31, 1934, in Greenville, MI, the son of Dr. Norman Green and Merle (Blanding) Green. He was a graduate of the Greenville High School class of 1952 and went on to receive a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, IL in 1957. Larry was a Chiropractor in Greenville for over 45 years, before moving to Mason in 2007 and continuing to practice in the Lansing area. He attended First Baptist Church of Eaton Rapids and was a past member of Faith Baptist Church in Greenville. Larry was a member of the Greenville Lions Club and the Gideons International. He leaves a legacy of faith in Christ, love of family, and health through holistic care. Larry is survived by his wife, Betty (Cooper) Green; daughters, Jennifer (Steve) Shuptar, Julia (Kent) VanKleek; grandchildren, Mike (Ericka) Shuptar, Jon (Meg) Shuptar, Mark (Nikki) Shuptar, Lena Shuptar, Rachel (Nick) Newton, Brooke VanKleek; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Doloria Chapin; brother, Dan (Betsy) Green and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Kristen, and sister, Marjorie Beardslee. Services for the immediate family were held at Rest Haven Memory Garden, Belding Michigan.
