Loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at age 43. Born January 4, 1971 to Joel and Dorothy Johnson in Lansing, Michigan. Daniel currently worked for Michigan Packaging Company in Mason. He was a member of Anchor of Love Ministries Church in Grand Ledge where he became a Minister, the Adult Bible Sunday School Teacher and next to be ordained Assistant Pastor. Daniel enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a family man who loved everyone and was loved by all who knew him.
Surviving are his wife, Rachel Johnson; daughter, Sarah Grace Johnson; sons, Roy Gutierrez, Richie Gutierrez; grandchildren, Rylie Gutierrez, Reina Gutierrez, Brent Vega; sisters, Debra Johnson, Michelle Lamoureux, Rachael (Steve) Loomis; brothers, Michael (Wanetta) Lamoureux, David Johnson, Joel Johnson Jr., Jonathan Johnson as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
