Dana Stiffler

Dana Edward Stiffler, Dana-Bear or D-Bear to his friends and family, passed away after a hard battle with cancer. One of seven children he grew up in Holt and graduated in 1972. In 1977 he married the love of his life, Peg , and they had 48 great years together, raising one son, Evan (Crystal) Stiffler, and enjoying one grandson, Scott Stiffler and one step-granddaughter, Ana Smith. He opened his Furniture and Cane restoration shop in 1989 and spent his time between the shop, taking care of his son, his mom and later his grandson. Also surviving are his sisters, Bev Saunders, Carol Deady; sister-in-law, Carol Cook-Stiffler; brother-in-law, Curtis Colwell as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dana enjoyed hunting, fishing and hanging out with friends. He dabbled in acting in local groups and loved singing Karaoke whenever he could. He will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service. To share memories and condolences please visit www.SkinnerFuneralHomes.com
