Connie Lulu Sevrey
Of Lansing, Mich., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, at the age of 57. Connie was born in Lansing on Sept. 8, 1958, the daughter of Danny and Laura (Heiden) Hudson. She graduated from Lansing Eastern High School Class of 1976. Connie worked with developmentally disabled adults at Community Mental Health Transitions North, before retiring in 2013. Connie's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and son, Jason Sevrey.
Surviving are her children, Samantha Sevrey, Beth Garcia, Nicole Sevrey , Jacob Sevrey and nine grandchildren. She also is survived by brothers, Jimmy (Cindy) Hudson, David Hudson, Danny (Jodi) Hudson and sister, Diann Dean, and adopted daughter Angela.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Holt Friendly Home for their loving care.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in East Lansing.
