Age 85, died on September 1, 2010 at home with his family. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He was a custodian for the Lansing School District.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margie Shelley, mother Hazel Shelley, father Claude Shelley, and son Robert Browne.

Surviving are his children Mary (Tom) Burke, Maria Browne, Gwen Browne, Lewie Soua; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

There will be a funeral service at the Chapel in the Pines Funeral Home on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 1:00PM with a visitation one hour prior.
