Carolyn A. King Obituary (1943 - 2014)

Carolyn A. King Lansing Passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at age 70. Born December 21, 1943 to Charles and Adelaide (Sersaw) Sherrick in Clare, Michigan. Carolyn retired from General Motors where she worked in the parts plant. She was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in both Harrison and Holt. Carolyn was also a member of the Harrison Moose Lodge and the Lansing Moose Lodge #288. She loved flowers and enjoyed spending time in her garden. Carolyn was also an avid hunter and enjoyed gambling. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carolyn was a strong, independent, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be missed dearly by all who remember her. Preceding her in death were her sister, LaVonne; brother, Franklin and her parents. Surviving are her daughters, Donna A. Cavanaugh, Dawn Perry; sons, Douglas (Vickie) Blattner, Jeff (Teresa) Mund; grandchildren, Joseph Skipper, Austin Cavanaugh, Owen Cavanaugh, Kayla Perry, Kasey Perry, Kelsey Perry, Tyler Cwiek, Jessica Cwiek, Taylor Mund, Macy Mund; great grandchildren, Brennon Thompson, Harmoni Skipper as well many nieces and nephews.
