Passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at the age of 65. Born on April 29, 1959 to Calvin and Patricia (Allen) Glassford in Saginaw, Michigan. Bruce worked in Quality Control for General Motors where he retired in 2016 after working 39 years with the company. Following his retirement, Bruce spent his golden years doing what he loved most, enjoying the great outdoors and spending quality time with friends and family. An avid camper, he relished every opportunity to immerse himself in nature. Bruce was a true Michigander at heart, spending his leisure time enjoying the beauty of northern Michigan at some of his favorite places in Northport, Traverse City and on Lake Huron. Bruce also enjoyed gaming and was an avid Xbox gamer. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson on the open road, always up for a new adventure, always ready to seize the day. Bruce was a man of loyalty, and adventure. His life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and the pursuit of joy. He was loved greatly and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Preceding him in death were his father, Calvin Glassford and brother-in-law, Joseph Jager and his beloved four legged friend, Odie.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Olney; daughter, Bambi (Garth) Russell; grandchildren, Avery and Adrian Russell; mother, Patricia Glassford; brother, Mark Glassford; sisters, Catherine Jager, Lori Glassford; nephews, Ryan Hankins, Troy Glassford; niece, Jessica Hueni as well as numerous extended family and friends.
