Clifford Dean "Cliff" Lewis Obituary (1937 - 2018)

Clifford Dean Lewis Lansing Passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the age of 80. Born August 12, 1937 to Howard V. Tefft and Fannie Trumble in Olivet, Michigan. Cliff served in the US Army where he was honorably discharged. He went on to work for General Motors where he retired after 33 years. Upon his retirement he and his wife moved to Arizona where they lived for nine years and Cliff started Lewis Repair that he owned and operated. Cliff was known as a handyman who would fix anything and help anyone in need. He was also an avid bowler, enjoyed country music especially Elvis and also enjoyed his western movies. Cliff liked the outdoors and camping where he was master of the camp fire. Most of all Cliff loved his family and all the time he was able to spend with them. Preceding him in death were three children, Scott Lewis, Charlotte Lewis, Cheryl Vaillancourt; brothers, Vern, Loran and Floyd as well as his parents. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Lewis; children, Arthur Lewis, RoseMarie (Art) Hernandez, Linda Inkpen (Paul Perrin), Michelle (Greg) Kwiecien, Kim Heney; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Irene (Henry) Repp as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Noon on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5301 W. Holt Rd. Holt, MI 48842.
